Sharmil Shah
Director | CTO
A technologist with 15+ years of experience in architecting and building innovative digital solutions for various industries such as telecom, loyalty, retail and logistics.
He is currently the Founder and CTO at Tacto, a technology consultancy that selectively advises, builds, promotes and invests in world class digital solutions. Under his stewardship, Tacto is helping startups and Fortune 500 companies build and implement cutting-edge middle-mile and last-mile delivery solutions to stay relevant in today's on-demand world.
He previously built RedAnar, a location-based mobile marketing platform for card-based offers, which was acquired by a leading loyalty management company. Prior to starting Tacto, Sharmil was a consultant with Sapient Corporation in the US where he consulted various clients such as Sprint and Target on some of their digital innovations.
Sharmil is a proud and active alumnus of University of Virginia where he earned a B.S. in Computer Science. He is also a 2015 Fellow of the Startup Leadership Program in Mumbai.

With over 15 years of experience across Business Consulting, Software Development and Program Management, he is adapt in being the bridge between business challenges and technology solutions.
He started his journey at Digital Bungalow in Boston, USA. Over the years he has delivered value at Hewitt Associates, USA and the Melcom Group of Companies, Ghana. In 2010, his entrepreneurial streak led him to found AavidCode, Quick Admissions and RateMySchool.
Since December 2017, he has been leading the Business Development and Program Management functions at Tacto Infomedia.
He holds a B.Sc. in Management Science and Information Systems from the Pennsylvania State University.
