Overview
India’s first social petworking app is a community for anyone interested in either adopting a pet, finding a playdate for their pet, finding a mate for their pet. The users can discuss pet experiences, find and adopt a pet, help save a pet’s life so on and so forth.
The Mandate
To conceptualise and build a mobile application which enables the pet loving community to adopt, find a playdate or a mate for their pet based on their preferences and proximity.
The Solution
The Tacto team built a recommendation engine to help find a playdate / mate based on location services and preferences entered by the pet parent. Further, the application had a chat feature to enable the users to interact freely.

Challenge
No platform available for pet parents where they could find a match
Solution: Built an interface similar to Tinder wherein pet parents can like or dislike a pet. There is a page which also showcases the top picks for the week.
Challenge
No platform available to adopt a pet
Solution: Built an adoption module where pet donors can put up their pets for adoption. A pet seeker can show interest and if his/her request is accepted then the respective parties can chat further.

Lack of a consolidated list of pet care services
Solution: Built a module where pet service providers can update the services offered.. Pet parents can search/filter through the various service providers and contact them.
